Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Mari: I'm a celebrity makeup artist. I’ve been doing makeup for 20 years and absolutely love it! I also created an eyelash brand LASHLASH and have an education program for makeup artists.
Q: Which is your favorite Danucera product and why?
Mari: It’s so tough to choose — I love all of them! The D22 Tonic makes my skin glow, Cerabalm is an incredible cleansing product that doesn’t dry out my skin, and Cream Supreme is the only moisturizer I use year-round! On myself and my clients.
Q: How would you describe your skincare journey?
Mari: I've always loved skincare and makeup, constantly trying new products and experimenting with different routines. Luckily, my skin isn’t too sensitive, so I can explore without worries. I’m absolutely obsessed with skincare! But with all the traveling I’ve been doing, my routine has become much simpler.
Q: What is one thing about you that would surprise people?
I have a twin sister that lives in Brazil. I DJ and I have been to Burning Man 10 times! And I don’t analyze everyone’s makeup the moment I see them.

Q: What does your daily wellness routine look like?
Mari: I start my day with coffee, eye patches, meditation, and a workout. I work out five days a week and do yoga 1–2 times.
My morning skincare routine includes Vitamin C serum, hyaluronic acid, a facial massage with ice globes, eye patches, eye cream, and face cream. I always wear sunscreen—usually a tinted one instead of foundation.
After my shower, I do dry brushing and apply body lotion to keep my skin hydrated and smooth.
Q: What is the best piece of skincare advice you have ever received and from who?
Mari: I started using sunscreen every day after learning more about the sun and its impact on the skin.Also, using toothpaste on a pimple (overnight) to dry it out — no idea who told me that, but it was a game-changer!
Q: Complete the following sentence: "I feel naked if I leave the house without a...."
Mari: Concealer and my eyelashes curled.
