Danucera Diaries
Entry 19: Marina Larroude
Tell us a little about yourself?
"I’m the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Larroudé, a footwear brand. I was born and raised in Brazil, but I’m a New Yorker at heart — I moved here over 23 years ago and have worked in fashion for more than two decades. Now, I split my time between both worlds. Shoes have been my lifelong passion, and building this brand has been the most fulfilling adventure."
Which is your favorite Danucera product and why?
"I love the Master Mask. I’m obsessed with hydrating masks, and there’s truly nothing like this one."
Why do you choose Danucera for your skincare routine?
"Danucera products are clean, effective, and luxurious — they deliver results without compromising on quality or sensorial pleasure, which is exactly what I want in my routine."

Q: How do you keep your skin glowing while traveling? Tell us about your trip!
Marina: "I’ve been traveling to Brazil a lot for business lately. I’m very methodical about my skincare routine, and I always have a beauty travel bag packed and ready to go. Hyaluronic acid, retinoid, moisturizer, eye cream, and a moisture mask are my must-haves."

Q: Where are you shopping for your vacay fits? What are you most excited to wear?
Marina: "I’m mixing Larroudé sandals with breezy dresses from Doen, Natalie Martin, and Maison Mayle."
Q: When you are on a trip — what’s the vibe?
Marina: "A little of both — I love having a few must-do experiences planned, but I always leave room for spontaneous discoveries. That’s where the magic happens."
Q: What is your favorite part about being in a new place/experiencing a different culture?
Marina: "I love discovering new places, immersing myself in the local culture, and tasting the food that defines it. "

Q: After being in Brazil, what are your top recs for anyone visiting?
Marina: "Spend time in Rio for the beaches and vibrant energy, visit São Paulo for the food and art, and don’t miss the southern countryside — especially Sapiranga, where our factories are."
Q: The best part of coming home is?
Marina: "Cuddling my kids in our own bed and slipping back into our everyday family chaos."
