Danucera Diaries
Entry 36: Taylor Pearl
Tell us more about yourself?
I am a fitness instructor, wellness professional, and new mom living in the Hamptons year round. My days are a blend of moving my body, building community, walks with my husband, and snuggles with my dogs and baby. I’m drawn to a lifestyle that feels intentional. Whether it’s through movement, skincare, or the way I design my home and routines, I believe in creating rituals that ground you and make everyday life feel elevated but approachable.
How would you describe your mission as a Pilates & fitness professional, and what do you want clients to walk away with beyond the workout?
My mission as a fitness professional is to help people feel strong in a way that’s sustainable physically, mentally, and emotionally. I focus on building deep, lasting strength that supports you in every season of life. I want people to walk away from my class feeling more connected to their bodies and more confident in themselves. Fitness should be something we do as a gift to ourselves, not a form of punishment. If someone leaves class feeling just a little more empowered, than I feel accomplished.
" I have been talking about Cerabalm since I discovered it and I was so excited to share it with my clients and community because I think it is just something you can’t not love, and I was right"

Q: What does confidence mean to you now, and how do you rebuild it on days it feels far away?
Taylor: This question is so fitting for my life right now and my answer would have been very different a year and a half ago. I had my baby 6 months ago and I look at my confidence and my body in such a different light. Being in the fitness space, there is a lot of pressure to look a certain way and I used to be really hard on myself. Since having my baby, I am just so amazed at what my body can do. Confidence, to me, is loving your body for what it is and all it does. On days it feels far away, I lean into treating myself with self care – sometimes that is as simple as a warm bath and face mask or booking myself a massage or facial.
Q: How is skincare a part of your professional toolkit, something you share alongside movement and wellness?
Taylor "Skincare is very much a part of my toolkit! It is an extension of wellness – just like movement, it’s about consistency and intention. Skincare, for me, is a very intentional and grounding practice. Just like I tend to the muscles in my body through fitness and stretching, I give the same attention to the ones in my face. I always try to make the time in either my AM or PM routine to give my facial muscles some love with face massage, microcurrent or gua sha. I prioritize sharing tools and products that are clean and safe yet effective."
Q: What’s your “come back to yourself” routine—movement, skincare, journaling, silence—what’s in it?
Taylor: "I feel like I am actually doing this quite often these days because the lack of sleep and the postpartum hormones do have me exhausted and I feel better when I am giving myself the extra love.
Step 1: Movement and walk – Even if it is 10 minutes of a workout, I try to do something! The better the weather, the longer I will be walking.
Step 2: An all the things shower – If my husband or a family member can take the baby I will not take this shower for granted! Head massage with shampoo, hair conditioning treatment, body scrub, etc.
Step 3: Body oil with lymphatic drainage massage
Step 4: Face massage or microcurrent followed by a face mask (Often Cerabalm)".
Q: What’s one Danucera product you think everyone should own, regardless of their lifestyle and why?
Taylor: Cerabalm. 100%. So many uses! On days I have no time, I apply a thin layer to leave on and it looks so glowy! On days where I have extra time for self care, I load it on as a face mask to plump and hydrate. I also use it as a cleanser – it gets the dirt and makeup off without feeling overly dry. If I was stranded on an island and could only have 1 product… Cerabalm.
Q: Take us back to when we met in Palm Beach—what was happening with your skin during pregnancy that made you start searching for something new?
Taylor: "I have always cared about what I put on my skin in terms of ingredients, and when I was pregnant, that awareness was amplified. Something I wasn’t prepared for was realizing that not all “clean” products are automatically safe for pregnancy. Some of the products I had used and trusted before were clean by standard definitions, but not necessarily recommended while growing a tiny human.
So I began searching for a line I could confidently use during that season — something thoughtfully formulated, pregnancy-safe, but that still delivered a sense of luxury and high performance. My skin was craving extra hydration and plumping support, and I wanted that healthy, lit-from-within glow, especially as hormones shifted and everything felt more sensitive.
I also wanted to treat myself during that time. Pregnancy is beautiful, but it’s also vulnerable and transformative. When I was lucky enough to receive a mini facial from the Danucera team, I was hooked. It felt intentional, results-driven, and indulgent in a way that aligned perfectly with what I had been searching for.".
Q: Skincare can be a ritual, not a chore. What’s your favorite part of your Danucera routine, and why does it feel nurturing?
Taylor: "My favorite step would be the Exfoligold or Cerabalm (used as a cleanser) because it usually is my moment of incorporating a little massage and lymphatic drainage. I don’t exfoliate everyday but when I do the little rice beads in the Exfoligold just add such a relaxing aspect. It is such a simple pleasure and another way I get to show some self love!"
Q: You introduced Cerabalm to your circle. What did you tell them it does, and what reactions kept coming back to you?
Taylor: "Yes! I told them it is a holy grail. Literally a facial in a beautiful aesthetic jar. I think the multi-use purpose is what makes it so special – It is a cleanser, make up remover, moisturizer, it plumps and hydrates. I have been talking about Cerabalm since I discovered it and I was so excited to share it with my clients and community because I think it is just something you can’t not love, and I was right; because everyone that has tried it has loved it just as much as I thought they would. The feedback has been nothing but rave reviews."
Q: If you could give your younger self one piece of self-love advice (the kind you actually needed), what would you tell her?
Taylor: If I could give my younger self one piece of self-love advice, it would be to fully embrace the stage she’s in. To love her body, her skin, and all the imperfections she’s so quick to criticize. It’s always possible to find something to pick apart, but with time comes perspective. I look back at my younger self and think, “I can’t believe I was so hard on myself.” I wish I saw it in the moment and I wish I could show my younger self how I see her now.
It’s advice I still give myself today. When I am down on myself, I try to imagine looking back at this version of myself ten years from now. I know I’ll see beauty, strength, and youth that I might overlook today. That shift in perspective helps me practice gratitude for where I am."
