Danucera Diaries

Entry 13: Kevin Harter & Jangir Sultan

Tell us a little about yourselves:

"I’m Jangir Sultan, founder of Patient Advocates of America, and I'm a husband and father to twin boys. My work in patient advocacy has taught me the importance of showing up with strength—and that starts with caring for yourself. Skincare is my daily reminder to stay grounded so I can better advocate for others." – Jangir
"We are a family on the go -  2 Dads (one in Fashion the other in Healthcare ) and 2 Teenage Boys .   We split our time between Manhattan and out on Long Island for the weekends where we spend a lot of time on the beach so we need that extra help for our skincare routines." –Kevin

Which is your favorite Danucera product and why?"
I love Danucera’s Iconic Eye because it delivers effective results you can feel and see—and in my line of work, being well-rested and present isn’t just personal; it’s professional." –Jangir
“I love to treat myself to a mask at the end of a busy day – the Master Mask feels like a luxury treat”. –Kevin

"Today’s dads are helping redefine grooming by grounding it in science, self-respect, and daily habits—not vanity. With my 13-year-old twin boys, I’m teaching that skincare isn’t just about appearance but about understanding your body: protecting skin from sun damage, practicing good hygiene, staying hydrated, and eating well. These basics create a strong foundation for thoughtful, informed, and sustainable grooming."

Q: Why do you choose Danucera for your skincare routine?

I chose Danucera because the brand embodies intention, care, and clean, effective formulas—values that align with my values in both life and work. As someone who advocates for others every day, I appreciate products that support me in feeling restored and confident. Danucera helps me lead with stability from the inside out." –Jangir

“Not only does it feel like a luxury treat – my skin really reacts to it quickly, I feel refreshed every morning due to the amazing products the line offers” –Kevin

Q: Do you think dads today are setting a new standard for what self-care and grooming look like for future generations of boys?
"Yes, I do. Today’s dads are helping redefine grooming by grounding it in science, self-respect, and daily habits—not vanity. With my 13-year-old twin boys, I’m teaching that skincare isn’t just about appearance but about understanding your body: protecting skin from sun damage, practicing good hygiene, staying hydrated, and eating well. These basics create a strong foundation for thoughtful, informed, and sustainable grooming." –Jangir

“For sure – our boys would use the product now if we would let them, but yes teens now are very self aware of the importance of grooming.” –Kevin

Q: If you could teach your sons just one skincare lesson to carry into adulthood, what would it be and why?
"If I could teach my sons just one skincare lesson to carry into adulthood, it would be consistency. Skincare isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about small, daily habits that protect and preserve your health over time. Just like showing up for yourself and others, how you care for your skin should be steady, intentional, and rooted in self-respect." –Jangir

“Apply sunscreen and moisturize daily!” –Kevin

Q: Does your skincare routine reflect the kind of dad you are—efficient, chill, all-in, or a little chaotic?
"Definitely—my skincare routine reflects the kind of dad I am, intentional and consistent. I keep it simple but meaningful, focused on the basics that make a lasting impact—just like my approach to parenting. It’s about showing up daily, even in the smallest ways, with care and purpose." –Jangir

“In our minds we are efficient – and I’m definitely all in, but life is chaotic so I need a routine that is flexible.” –Kevin

Q: If your skin could send you a Father’s Day card, what would it say?
“Keep it up, Dad. you got this!” –Jangir
“Breathe.” –Kevin
