Danuta Mieloch's Green Juice Recipe

To say that beauty starts from within is an understatement. In fact, I suggest we take it a notch deeper to unlock its true meaning. Cultivating better thoughts, being good to ourselves, pushing the limits, and focusing on deep, rich internal nourishment is the overall definition of ‘beauty from within’. 

I love a good night on the town, just as much as the next person but I always long for weekends with my dogs, best friends, and my homegrown plants, herbs, roots, and more. For instance, my latest creation was this green juice that I made with a generous mix of celery, parsley, green apple, kale, ginger, lemon, cucumber.

Celery is always a staple in my juices since it  works on debloating and regulates your blood pressure (something we owe to ourselves after a work week). It also boosts collagen production, and helps skin reverse sun damage.

I love anti-inflammatory herbs like parsley since it is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients that speed up skin healing. Bonus: It adds a delicious kick to the juice. 

Aside from helping with healthy digestion and adding a tangy twist to the juice, green apples are also packed with vitamin C and helps enhance our immune system. 

Kale is a rich source of plant-based calcium, it helps make your bones strong and has low levels of a natural compound called oxalate, which makes the calcium more available for absorption in the body.

Roots such as ginger are the world’s favorite immunity boosters and I am no exception. I love incorporating ginger in my green juice because it’s an important anti-inflammatory ingredient that also helps promote skin health. 

Lemon is another Vitamin C overload that I can’t get enough of. Much of skin health is affected by sun exposure, which is why we should bank as much defense as we can in our food intake. Lemon also helps with healthy digestion!

A super hydrator is a must in all recipes catering to enhancing your skin…in this recipe, cucumber does more than just that…It hydrates your system internally and acts as a great anti inflammation agent. Most of what people generally eat contributes to inflammation in the body, which is why we need juices like these to reverse that. 

Danuta Mieloch’s Green Juice Recipe:


  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • ½ a head of kale 
  • Handful of raw ginger
  • 1 green apple 


  1. Wash all produce thoroughly 
  2. Cut the rind off the lemon (this will make for easier juicing)
  3. Cut apples into quarters & remove the rind
  4. Slice cucumber into quarters 
  5. Place into your juicer of choice (no particular order)
  6. Enjoy!

Aside from having a consistent skincare routine, eating healthy and drinking green juice is also a part of my mantra. Consistent juicing is a great way to improve skin health. I always emphasize that it’s important to take care of yourself inside out.
