Years later, I built my life in the United States. It became my home, full of opportunity, energy, and scale. When I opened Rescue Spa over two decades ago, I saw a clear need: American women didn’t need more products—they needed guidance. They needed to understand the skin. I introduced a methodology rooted in structure: cleanse, tone, treat, protect. Simple, but transformative.
At that time, discovery was everything. Bringing in brands like Biologique Recherche was revolutionary. It was not about access, but about introducing excellence, about elevating standards.
But today, we are living in a different reality.
The industry is saturated. There is an overwhelming number of products, voices, opinions. Skincare has become louder, but not necessarily better. What once required education now requires discernment. And this is where my evolution begins.
Danucera: A More Defined Philosophy
Returning to Warsaw to open Danucera is not accidental. It is deeply intentional. This space is not about abundance, it is about precision.
My philosophy has not changed, but it has become more distilled. More focused. More rooted. I am no longer interested in offering everything. I am interested in offering what truly works.
Fewer products. Better results. A system built around longevity, preservation, and consistency.
Danucera reflects this clarity.
Even the name is a bridge, “Danu” from my name, and “cera,” the Polish word for complexion. It is personal, but also symbolic. A connection between two worlds that define me: Europe and America.
I often say that I carry both within me. Europe gave me discipline, technique, and respect for tradition. America gave me possibility, scale, and vision. I need both. And Danucera is where they meet.
